Designing Living Spaces in Accra: Rouge Interiors

The real estate industry in Ghana is on the ascendancy and this has attracted players from other sectors to complement the housing sector. One such complementary sector is that of interior design, which adds much gloss and excitement to a home.

Rouge Interiors Ltd. is blazing the trail in this respect with products and services tailored to meet the needs of real estate developers and house-hunters alike. Amma Anno-Bempong and Tomas Calabuig are two of three partners running operations of the company.

Rouge Interiors was initially set up to feed development companies with Rouge products, such as furnishing of tiles, kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom hardware, among other housing materials.

Today, after about three years in existence, Rouge Interiors has grown to become a one-stop shop endowed with authentic and renowned European products, boasting with brands such as Coleccion Alexandra, Taberner, Lebana and Porcelanosa Grupo.

Their forte is being able to supply all kinds of interior hardware for any type of development project, whether it is a hotel, house/ apartment, office, school, etc.  In a nutshell, if you need to add some tender, loving care (TLC) to your living space, Rouge Interiors can deliver.

According to the General Manager of Rouge Interiors, Amma Anno-Bempong, their main objective is “to offer the finest quality products at competitive prices to clients who feel that quality is a key requirement to match international standards.”  They offer products that are first grade; therefore they guarantee their customers to purchase and install high quality products.

Upon entrance into the Ghanaian market, Rouge Interiors had experienced a rapid learning curve. As they participated and interacted with different customers and clients they learned to source different quality products to suit their end users budgets.

Once overlooked, the booming real estate market in Ghana has helped bring awareness and interest to the intricacies of interior furnishing and hardware.  This has been the niche market Rouge Interiors has flourished in and some of their clients actually plan and make preparations for interior hardware instead of the usual last minute order.

Rouge Interiors also has partners that have been in the furniture business for over 30 years, assuring them the best professional consulting advice in the services they provide.

Rouge Interiors also offers consultation and advice for clients on how to manage space and decide on appropriate interior furnishing to satisfy all their needs.

If you haven’t heard of Rouge Interiors, it is mainly because they work directly with developers, architects, and artisans who are behind the scenes and ensure quality work. Situated at the Yekeima Square, with a showroom that is gradually coming into its own, there is no doubt that the firm is fast becoming one of Ghana’s finest.

Jumia House will be sharing some of Rouge Interiors’ tips on interior designing in subsequent posts so keep track.
