1. Use a good camera – Taking photos of an inanimate object like a building is quite easy when the right camera is used. Using a
   

   

   a professional camera can do the trick but the camera does not have to be expensive for the photos to be successful. Test your camera before taking photos. If it takes bad photos or the quality is not high enough, consider purchasing or borrowing a good camera to ensure the success of your sale.
2. Take advantage of daylight – Property owners may not be professional photographers, who know all about the ISO speed, white lights and the different light modes of the camera. If you have this knowledge it is very useful, but if you do not, ensure the camera is on automatic mode and take advantage of the daylight, especially in capturing images of the interior of the property. This will create a much better atmosphere with clearer, sharper images.
3. Choose the right angle – A good photograph is one which has the entire image in question in the frame. A terrible photograph of a building is one which has part of the building or the interior cut off. Before an image is captured, make sure you have everything in the shot.  When taking a photo of the interior of your room, make sure you stand in a corner; this will enable you to capture the entire space.
4. Hold the camera straight – Professional photographers have tripod stands which hold the camera straight and enables the photographer to manipulate the camera to capture images. In the absence of a tripod stand, ensure the camera is held straight before the photo is taken.
5. Capture highlights – Every property has its highlights. For instance, a big living room or large windows creating a light-filled space. People are on the search for highlights when it comes to their dream property, so be sure to enhance these.
