There is also the Manhyia Palace Museum which is located at the Anto Road at Kumasi. THe Manhyia Palace gives an overview of the Ashanti history, the kings of the Ashanti kingdom and the British visits.

Other landmarks in Kumasi include Fort Kumasi which was built in 1896 to replace an Ashanti Fort which is now a museum for tourism.
