Ghana’s population which is nearly 30 million people with an expatriate population of about 40,000 people, most of whom live in Accra will demand that the real estate industry in Ghana is tailored to meet the needs of its residents such that people from different economic backgrounds can also find a property that will suit their budget.
With flexible payment methods such as mortgages, acquiring a piece of real estate hasn’t been easier. Several banks like GHL Bank make it very easy for people over a wide economic spectrum to acquire property they can call their home.
In view of this, Ghana’s choicest online portal for real estate, meqasa.com, held it’s second Housing Fair in June 2018 dubbed “meQasa Property Expo 2018” at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra. The event brought together hundreds of property seekers and real estate stakeholders including agents, developers and ancillary service providers.
The three-day event enabled about 300 property seekers, primarily, from Accra to browse through properties from the nation’s top property developers, high-end estate agencies and premium vendors of home and office products and services such as mortgage lenders, electronics and home decor companies.
The highlight of the meqasa property expo was the seminars held on each day of the event where insightful and instructive topics were discussed. The seminars touched on topics such as “How to Spot Homes for Sale with Investor Potential”, “The Best Way to Win in the Mortgage Game” and “Avoiding Land Litigation in Ghana the Smart Way” by experts in their respective industries.
The Meqasa Property Expo was sponsored by Electroland Ghana Limited, Ozone Broadband, Kasapreko, Yen, Pulse, Ghana Web, ddp Outdoor Limited and MyJoyOnline. There was a lot of food, drinks and a cocktail which offered attendees superb networking opportunities and the chance to learn from industry experts.
There was also an exclusive Business lounge that assisted trade talks for investors and VIP guests. Attendees were also entered into a raffle draw in which they won exciting prizes from the event sponsors.
The Meqasa Property Expos take place annually and the perfect housing fair for people actively and passively looking to buy a house or land; seeking to rent an apartment or office space and investors seeking stellar real estate projects to back.
In Meqasa’s continued effort to offset the country’s housing deficit and better serve property seekers, Meqasa presents yet again another housing fair dubbed the “Meqasa Home and Property Fair 2019”. This housing fair will take place on 6th and 7th April 2019 at the Silver Star Tower in Accra. The event is free and open to the public on both days between 9am and 5pm.
It promises to be exciting and informative. Don’t miss it! Your new home awaits!
